Phase 1 – Beating Margit at the Gate
1. Approach the castle from the ramparts and trigger Margit.
2. Recommended stats:
- Vigor ~20+
- Main weapon +3–+4
3. Summon:
- Sorcerer Rogier (sign near fog)
- A spirit ash (e.g., wolves)
Margit Tips
- Roll **into** his staff swings; punish with 1–2 hits.
- Watch for the glowing dagger combo; roll sideways, not back.
- Use **Barricade Shield** or similar for safer blocking if you struggle.

Phase 2 – Side Route Through the Cliffside
1. After Margit, talk to Gatekeeper Gostoc.
2. Choose the side path; ignore the “main gate open” bait.
3. Move slowly across the cliffside ledge:
- Backstab single soldiers.
- Use plunging attacks on enemies below.
Activate the Stormveil Cliffside and Rampart Tower graces.

Phase 3 – Interior Courtyards and Rooftops
From Rampart Tower:
1. Take the door to the left and clear the birds with explosive barrels; ranged attacks help.
2. Drop to the lower roofs for:
- Smithing Stones
- A talon-like talisman
3. Circle back via ladders and wooden beams to create a loop.
Secret: An illusory wall near one of the cramped hallways hides a room with extra loot and an optional mini-boss knight.

Phase 4 – The Grafted Scion & Godrick's Arena Approach
1. From the main courtyard with the lion, hug the right wall to reach a safe inner route.
2. Open the lift shortcut back to Rampart Tower.
3. If you drop to the lower area beyond the Grafted Scion:
- You can reach hidden loot and backdoors to the boss fog.

Phase 5 – Godrick the Grafted Strategy
Recommended:
- Fire or bleed‑capable weapons.
- Spirit ash to distract second phase.
Tips:
- In Phase 1, stay near his **left side**, rolling through axe swipes.
- In Phase 2 (dragon arm), roll **toward** flame sweeps and punish the recovery.
- Focus on stamina discipline—1–2 hits, then retreat.
