Phase 1 – First Steps from Dirtmouth
1. Buy a map from Cornifer once found.
2. Unlock the Stag Station for fast travel.
3. Locate the bench near the central Crossroads room.

Phase 2 – Early Charms & Geo
Key pickups:
- **Wayward Compass** (from Iselda in Dirtmouth)
- **Soul Catcher** (after the Ancestral Mound mini-boss)
Geo Farm
- Use the central vertical shaft with multiple weak enemies:
- Clear it top to bottom.
- Rest at a nearby bench.
- Repeat for safe early geo.

Phase 3 – False Knight & Optional Secrets
1. Head to the Ancestral Mound and then to the False Knight arena.
2. Learn to:
- Avoid hammer overheads
- Punish stun phases with spells
Secret: Breakable floors in his arena lead to extra loot and lore about who he really is.

Phase 4 – Preparing for Hornet
Before heading to Greenpath:
- Upgrade your nail if possible.
- Have at least:
- One **spell** unlocked
- A charm setup that fits your style (Compass + Soul Catcher is fine)
Crossroads will remain a hub you revisit; learning its shortcuts early makes later backtracking painless.
